FAQs
Does BIM Guide monitor user computer activity?
No. BIM Guide only monitors a predefined, closed list of functions used in Autodesk Revit. This list of functions may change as the product evolves, but we will never monitor user activity on the computer beyond the Autodesk Revit program. We are solely focused on maintaining order in your models.
Can I use BIM Guide while working with subcontractors?
Absolutely! With the purchased number of licenses, you are free to use it as you wish. Simply create accounts for your subcontractors on the portal and share the plugin installation file with them – they’ll handle the rest.
Since the restrictions set in BIM Guide apply only to the projects you select, subcontractors don’t have to worry about you blocking their work on projects you’re not collaborating on.
What will I do with all the time saved?
We have no idea, it’s up to you! For example, we like eating pizza and riding bikes.
My subscription is ending soon. Do I need to renew it manually?
No, you don’t need to do anything. Your subscription will automatically renew under the same terms as your current plan. However, if you don’t want it to renew automatically, you’ll need to follow the steps outlined below.
I want to cancel my BIM Guide subscription. What do I need to do?
To cancel your subscription, log into your account and go to the “Subscription” section. There, you’ll find a “Cancel Subscription” button, which stops the subscription from renewing. This means that once the current billing period ends, your subscription will expire without continuation, and you’ll lose access to BIM Guide.
Can I restore my subscription after canceling it?
Yes, you can! However, remember that if you cancel and then decide to subscribe again, you’ll start a new subscription period — you won’t continue from where you left off, even if you canceled mid-term.
I’m not interested in the trial. I want to subscribe right away!
That’s great! The registration process is the same as starting a trial. Click “Start Trial” on our website, then select “Register now,” which will guide you through the registration form to set up your account. Once logged in, go to the “Subscription” section, where you can purchase BIM Guide by selecting the number of licenses and payment method that suits you best.
